MARIETTA, Ga. — Keiser women's basketball battled throughout but fell 66–56 to Life on Saturday afternoon inside the Eagles' Nest.

The Seahawks traded blows early in what was a scrappy first quarter, highlighted by strong drives from Emelia O'Gilvie and Carolina de Domingo to give Keiser an early edge. Life responded with a late run to take an 11–10 lead after one, and both teams continued to go back and forth until the Running Eagles pulled away midway through the second quarter. Despite an off shooting night, Keiser stayed within reach thanks to its rebounding and second-chance efforts, heading into the break down just seven, 34–27.

The third quarter proved to be a grind on both ends, as neither team found much rhythm offensively. Jasmyn Hale dished out a few key assists in transition, and Avrie Schmidt and Satori Griffin connected inside to keep the margin manageable. In the fourth, Keiser put together a late push sparked by back-to-back buckets from Caidyn Cannon and Schmidt to trim the deficit to single digits, but Life's late free throws sealed the game with a 10-point difference.

Cannon and Griffin each led the Seahawks with 11 points. Cannon shot 5-of-12 from the floor, while Griffin knocked down a pair of threes and pulled down five rebounds. Schmidt added nine points, three assists, and a block while helping steady the offense in the second half. Hale filled up the stat sheet with nine rebounds, six assists, and three steals, setting the tone defensively. O'Gilvie chipped in eight points and seven rebounds, and de Domingo finished with six points and two assists.

Keiser will return to action on Monday, November 3rd, welcoming Trinity Baptist College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
