The Keiser Seahawks women's basketball team is set to open its 2025-26 season on the road this weekend in Georgia, marking the dawn of a new era for the program. The Seahawks will face the Reinhardt Eagles on Friday afternoon before squaring off against the Life Running Eagles on Saturday afternoon.
The 2025-26 season ushers in new leadership under Head Coach Matthew Strickland and Assistant Coach Tyler Sobey, who begin their journeys at the helm of the program.
The new staff will lean on a core of six returning players, highlighted by one of the team's top talents, all-conference selection Jasmyn Hale.  Last season, the Seahawks finished with an impressive 19-9 overall record and earned the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, falling in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament to Ave Maria.
