The Keiser wrestling team placed fourth at the Mid-South Conference South Division Championships Saturday afternoon in Lakeland, Fla. At the end of the tournament, 141 lbs Champion, Patrick Gould was named the Wrestler of the Tournament. Gould earned MSC South Division First Team All-Conference, while Johnson claimed Third Team All-Conference honors.

Earnest Johnson and George Zertopoulis still have a chance to make it to the National Tournament as there will be a board meeting on Tuesday to deciside the final entries.

"I thought we wrestled hard today, but we dropped some key matches that we could have won.," said Head Coach, Nick Soto. " We were in those matches, so we have to find a way to win. Right now, we're going to dial in and get focused for the national tournament in two weeks. Great job by Pat Gould today, programs first conference champion and outstanding wrestler of the tournament. He has been a huge asset to the program on and off the mat, living a champions lifestyle. While there's big congrats, this is not mission completed yet."
