The Keiser University wrestling season concluded on Day 3 of the NAIA National Championships in Wichita, Kansas. The 2025-26 Keiser University wrestling team put together a historic season full of milestones and program firsts. The Seahawks finished the regular season 8-3 overall and 4-1 in conference duals, earning their first winning record in program history. During the season, the team set new standards for performance, scoring the most points ever at the AAC Championship and finishing 3rd in the conference, the highest placement in program history.
Individually, the team made history with five automatic national qualifiers, tying a program high, and three additional wrestlers earned wildcard bids to the NAIA National Championships, ensuring eight wrestlers competed at nationals, which is the most in program history.
The Seahawks finished the tournament 19th overall in the team standings, marking another strong milestone for the growing program on the national stage. Keiser also earned a special individual honor as Sam Libby was awarded the Mannuel Gorriaran Award, presented to the wrestler who records the most pins in the least amount of combined time during the national tournament. Libby secured three falls in 6:49 during the championship, showcasing his ability to finish matches quickly and adding another highlight to the Seahawks' historic season.
Throughout the season, the Seahawks were consistently competitive against top-ranked opponents, highlighted by wins over nationally ranked wrestlers and multiple placers at major tournaments. Jordan Sommers capped the season as Keiser's third-ever All-American, solidifying his legacy and providing a fitting highlight to an extraordinary year.

Following the conclusion of the season, Head Coach Cole Manion reflected on the team's progress and achievements:
"To say I'm proud of what this team accomplished this season would be an understatement. We always talk about trying to reach our maximum potential, and I don't know if we fully reached it, but we got pretty close. These guys fought and worked so hard all year, and it's an honor to sit in their corners and watch the growth of this program. Jordan Sommers has had to overcome so much to get where he is today. I know he didn't get exactly what he wanted, but his only losses were to the runner-up and the wrestler who finished third, so there's not much we can hang our heads about. Our team was very young this season. We have everyone returning except Josiah, and now that we have that championship experience, I'm really excited about the future of this program. Keiser is coming."
