After posting a perfect 4-0 record en route to a first-place finish in the 165 weight class at the Seminole Rattler Invitational, Carl Guess was named the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week, announced the league office on Monday.

• The award marks the first weekly conference honor in the history of the Keiser wrestling program
• Guess won all four matches he wrestled in at the Rattler Invite
• The junior posted two pins, a win by decision and technical fall
• The Hickory, N.C. native sports a 9-2 overall record as a Seahawk
