The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), was announced Tuesday, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and the classroom.
Keiser University placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-District Team, including Francesco De Nicola, Charlem Diable, Claudio Pugnetti, Adrian Rivadulla, Sigmund Le Fjeld, and Nikola Vukelja. Among the honorees, Pugnetti was selected as an Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will be voted on by CSC members for Academic All-America® recognition. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 14.
Francesco DeNicola, Second Year, Casalnuovo di Napoli, Italy
- Maintained a 4.00 GPA while pursuing his Master of Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
- Secured All-Conference honors as a member of Keiser's runner-up 4x800m relay team at the Sun Conference Outdoor Championships.
- Posted a season-best 1:57.30 in the 800m and 4:12.87 in the 1,500m during the outdoor season.
- Played a key role in Keiser's conference championship relay success throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
- Demonstrated excellence both in competition and in the classroom as one of the program's top graduate student-athletes.
Charlem Diable, Second Year, France
- Maintained a 4.00 GPA while pursuing his Master of Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
- Secured All-Conference honors with a runner-up finish in the triple jump at the Sun Conference Indoor Championships.
- Won the triple jump at the HBCU Relays Experience with a personal-best leap of 14.57m.
- Captured another outdoor victory at the Southeastern Fire Invitational in the triple jump.
- Consistently ranked among Keiser's top scorers in the horizontal jumps throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.
- Balanced elite academic achievement with conference-level athletic success.
Claudio Pugnetti, Second Year, Udine, Italy
- Maintained a 3.92 GPA while majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
- Became a NAIA All-American with a sixth-place finish in the javelin at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships.
- Captured the Sun Conference Championship in the javelin with a school-record and facility-record throw of 65.18m, achieving the NAIA "A" standard.
- Named Sun Conference Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year after a dominant championship performance.
- Qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships for the second consecutive season.
- Finished the year as one of the top javelin throwers in the NAIA while earning All-Conference honors.
Adrian Rivadulla, Second Year, Queven, France
- Maintained a 3.88 GPA while studying Applied Engineering.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
- Collected three All-Conference honors during the outdoor season.
- Won the Sun Conference Championship in the 800m and helped the Seahawks earn runner-up finishes in relay competition.
- Qualified for both the NAIA Indoor and Outdoor National Championships during the 2025-26 season.
- Broke the Keiser school record in the 800m multiple times, culminating with a personal-best 1:50.71 at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships.
- Finished just 0.20 seconds shy of advancing to the NAIA Outdoor Championship final.
Sigmund Le Fjeld, Second Year, Kolsås, Norway
- Maintained a 3.87 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference honors.
- Named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
- Recorded a runner-up finish in the triple jump at the Southeastern Fire Invitational (14.11m).
- Added a fourth-place finish in the long jump at the HBCU Relays Experience.
- Scored for the Seahawks in multiple horizontal jump events throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.
- Contributed valuable depth to one of the Sun Conference's strongest jumps groups while excelling academically.
Nikola Vukelja, Fourth Year, Krusevac, Serbia
- Maintained a 3.94 GPA while majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference recognition.
- Named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the third time in his career.
- Recorded a season-best 2:45.47 in the 1000m during the indoor season.
- Competed in the mile, 1000m, and relay events throughout the year.
- Served as a valuable veteran presence within Keiser's distance program while balancing success in the classroom and on the track.
