The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), was announced Tuesday, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined accomplishments in competition and the classroom.
Keiser University placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-District Team, including Camille Romero, Romee Van Dam, Eva Vrancken, Gema Del Valle, Jordane Walter, and Daniela Torres-Logrono. The group helped the Seahawks to a fifth-place finish at both the Sun Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships while maintaining outstanding academic success, with each earning Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors during the 2025-26 season.
Camille Romero, Second Year, Pichincha, Ecuador
- Maintained a 4.00 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
- Recorded a season-best 2:18.10 in the 800m, qualifying for the Sun Conference Indoor Championship final.
- Finished runner-up in the 800m at the HBCU Relays Experience with a time of 2:20.07.
- Advanced to the Sun Conference Outdoor Championship final in the 800m and placed 4th overall.
- Contributed to Keiser's relay success as a member of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams at the conference championship meet.
- Consistently served as one of the Seahawks' top middle-distance athletes throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Romee Van Dam, Second Year, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
- Maintained a 4.00 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
- Captured the HBCU Relays Experience title in the 100m hurdles with a winning time of 14.17, meeting the NAIA B Standard.
- Earned All-Conference honors indoors with a runner-up finish in the 60m hurdles at the Sun Conference Indoor Championships.
- Qualified for both the NAIA Indoor and Outdoor National Championships during the 2025-26 season.
- Posted career-best hurdle performances throughout the year, including 8.80 in the 60m hurdles and 14.17 in the 100m hurdles.
- Established herself as one of the Sun Conference's premier hurdle competitors.
Eva Vrancken, Second Year, Maarssen, Netherlands
- Maintained a 4.00 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.
- Earned Sun Conference Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
- Captured the HBCU Relays Experience title in the 100m hurdles with a winning time of 14.17, meeting the NAIA B Standard.
