MIRAMAR, Fla. — The Keiser women's outdoor track and field team turned in a strong performance at the HBCU Relays Experience in Miramar, finishing third overall with 95 points. The Seahawks delivered key performances across both track and field events as they continue building momentum heading into postseason competition.
Keiser was highlighted by several event victories, beginning in the field where Elizabeth Butrica claimed first place in the pole vault (3.00m). Trinity Dorvil added a strong showing in the throws, placing second in the hammer throw (42.18m) while also contributing in both the shot put and discus.
On the track, Romee Van Dam led the way with a first-place finish in the 100m hurdles (14.17), a mark that met the NAIA B standard and further solidified her position as one of the team's top performers. Gracie Zacarias secured gold in the 400m dash (1:00.07) and added a third-place finish in the 200m (25.53). Camille Romero delivered a runner-up finish in the 800m (2:20.07), and Eva Vrancken added valuable points with a fourth-place finish in the 5,000m.
Additional contributions came from Jordane Walter, who placed second in the triple jump and competed across multiple events, and Daniela Logrono, who recorded a fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles.
The Seahawks will now shift their focus to the Sun Conference Championship on April 25–26 as they prepare for postseason competition.
