LAKELAND, Fla. — The Keiser women's outdoor track and field team finished fifth at the Sun Conference Championship in Lakeland, scoring 42 points over the two-day competition. Top-three finishes earned All-Conference honors, with several Seahawks reaching the podium.
The Seahawks were highlighted by strong performances in both track and field events, producing multiple All-Conference finishes. Trinity Dorvil led the field group with an All-Conference performance, placing third in the hammer throw (38.72m). Elizabeth Butrica also earned All-Conference honors with a second-place finish in the pole vault (2.95m), while adding a fifth-place showing in the high jump (1.42m).
On the track, the 4x100 relay team of Gracie Zacarias, Camille Romero, Butrica, and Daniela Torres-Logrono secured All-Conference honors with a third-place finish (51.43). The 4x400 relay team added a fourth-place finish to close out the meet. Individually, Gracie Zacarias placed fourth in the 400m (56.99), while Camille Romero added a fourth-place finish in the 800m (2:20.11). Eva Vrancken contributed in the distance events with an eighth-place finish in the 5,000m.
The Seahawks combined consistent scoring efforts across events to secure a top-five finish against strong conference competition.
