WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Mackenzie Masternak added another chapter to her historic season on Tuesday, earning NAIA Third Team All-America honors following a record-breaking campaign that helped lead No. 9 Keiser softball to its first Sun Conference Tournament Championship and second consecutive appearance in the NAIA Opening Round.
Masternak becomes one of the most decorated pitchers in program history after turning in one of the best seasons ever by a Seahawk in the circle. The senior finished the year with a 27-5 record and a 2.01 ERA across 35 appearances, including 34 starts. She tossed 191.1 innings, recorded 83 strikeouts, threw 18 complete games, and registered five shutouts while helping Keiser finish with a 46-10 overall record.
Her 27 victories established a new Keiser single-season record, surpassing the previous mark while ranking among the NAIA leaders throughout the season. Masternak's dominance and consistency provided the foundation for one of the most successful campaigns in program history.
In addition to her All-America selection, Masternak earned First Team All-Sun Conference honors and was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the second consecutive season. She also garnered NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference Scholar-Athlete recognition, showcasing excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Over her two-year Keiser career, Masternak compiled a 44-12 record with a program-best 1.94 career ERA. She finished her career with 159 strikeouts, 32 complete games, and seven shutouts in 350 innings pitched, cementing her place among the greatest pitchers in school history.
Masternak's All-America honor caps off a memorable season for the Seahawks, who captured the program's first Sun Conference Tournament title and advanced to the NAIA Opening Round for the second straight year.
