WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The No. 9 Keiser softball team hits the road this week for a two-part slate, beginning with a midweek non-conference doubleheader against Florida National on Wednesday before returning to Sun Conference play with a three-game series at St. Thomas.
Wednesday's matchup against Florida National marks the final non-conference games of the regular season, giving the Seahawks one last opportunity to fine-tune before the stretch run of conference play.
Keiser enters the week looking to regain momentum while continuing to build on what has been one of the most dominant seasons in program history. The Seahawks have consistently ranked among the NAIA leaders on both sides of the ball, combining a high-powered offense with a pitching staff that has controlled opposing lineups all season.
In the circle, Mackenzie Masternak continues to lead the way, anchoring a staff that has been one of the most reliable units in the country. Offensively, Keiser's depth remains a major strength, with multiple players contributing across the lineup.
The Seahawks will face a familiar opponent in Florida National, a team they have had recent success against, before shifting focus to a key conference series against St. Thomas.
The weekend series begins Friday at 3:00 p.m., followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. With conference standings tightening, the series presents an important opportunity for the Seahawks to position itself heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
