WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Keiser softball team returns to Alumni Field this weekend riding one of the most dominant stretches in the country, as the Seahawks host New College of Florida for a three-game series beginning Friday at 3:00 p.m., followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
Keiser enters the weekend on a 23-game winning streak, fueled by consistency on both sides of the ball and a relentless offensive attack. The Seahawks have swept five straight series and recorded 11 run-rule victories during that span.
The momentum only intensified last week, as Keiser went a perfect 6-0, sweeping both Webber International and Florida Memorial. The Seahawks were nothing short of dominant, outscoring their opponents by a combined 60-0 margin across the six games.
Offensively, Keiser continues to rank among the nation's elite, sitting 2nd in NAIA in runs, 6th in hits, and 4th in RBI. The lineup has produced up and down the order, combining speed, power, and timely hitting. Macy Schaaf has set the tone at the top, currently riding an 11-game hitting streak while batting .447 on the year. She has also added a new element on the basepaths, surpassing 19 stolen bases for the first time in her career. Kaci Kidd has been a model of consistency, reaching base in 20 consecutive games, while Faith Campos continues to be a dynamic presence with both production and speed, tallying 50 hits and 34 stolen bases on the season. Power in the middle of the lineup has come from Genesis Iglesias, who leads the team with seven home runs and 36 RBI while maintaining one of the highest on-base percentages on the roster.
Inside the circle, Keiser has been just as dominant, ranking 3rd nationally in shutouts. The staff is anchored by Mackenzie Masternak, who leads the NAIA with 20 wins and continues to be one of the most reliable arms in the country.
New College of Florida enters the weekend with a 21-11 overall record and a 6-6 mark in Sun Conference play. The Mighty Banyans went 3-3 last week, sweeping Warner before being swept by Coastal Georgia, showing both their potential and inconsistency heading into the matchup.
Historically, Keiser has controlled the series, winning seven of the last eight meetings between the two programs. However, the most recent postseason matchup resulted in a narrow 1-0 loss for the Seahawks, adding an extra level of focus heading into the weekend.
With a red-hot lineup, dominant pitching, and momentum firmly on their side, the Seahawks will look to extend their winning streak and continue their push toward the postseason.
