LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 10 Keiser Seahawks hit the road this weekend for one of their biggest tests of the season, traveling to face No. 4 Southeastern in a three-game Sun Conference series. The series begins Friday at 4:00 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. as Keiser looks to make a statement against one of the top teams in the NAIA. Keiser enters the weekend coming off a slight shift in the national poll, moving from No. 9 to No. 10, but remains firmly in the national spotlight with elite production on both sides of the ball. The Seahawks continue to rank among the top programs in the country, sitting inside the NAIA top 20 in multiple categories, including runs, hits, RBI, stolen bases, and ERA.
Offensively, Keiser has been one of the most dangerous lineups in the nation, leading the Sun Conference in runs, hits, RBI, batting average, slugging percentage, and stolen bases. The Seahawks' ability to generate offense in a variety of ways has been a defining factor all season. Individually, Genesis Iglesias continues to be a key presence at the plate, ranking among the NAIA leaders in walks, while Faith Campos has been a dynamic force on the bases and defensively, ranking nationally in stolen bases and fielding percentage. In the circle, Mackenzie Masternak remains one of the top pitchers in the country, currently tied for first in the NAIA in wins and closing in on program history—sitting just one victory away from breaking the single-season wins record set by Autumn Green. Meanwhile, Maggie Miller has been dominant in relief, ranking second nationally in saves and top 10 in WHIP.
The weekend also features a historic milestone at the plate, as both Macy Schaaf and Genesis Iglesias have already surpassed the program's career runs record and now sit tied at 110, continuing to add to their legacy with limited games remaining in the regular season. Southeastern presents a major challenge, as the Fire have consistently been one of the top programs in the conference and nationally. With postseason implications growing, the series offers Keiser a prime opportunity to strengthen its resume and build momentum heading into the final stretch.
