The Keiser women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships with three athletes representing the program across multiple events in Gainesville.
Junior thrower Niesha Aldajuste competed in the women's weight throw finals, placing 16th nationally with a mark of 16.35 meters. Aldajuste entered the championship after setting a program record earlier this season.
Sophomore Romee Van Dam delivered a strong performance in the women's 60-meter hurdles, finishing 11th overall with a time of 8.78. Her mark set a new Keiser school record in the event.
Camille Romero represented the Seahawks in the women's 800-meter run preliminaries, posting a time of 2:18.10 to place 16th overall in the field.
The trio of national qualifiers capped the indoor season with strong performances at the national championship meet, highlighted by Van Dam's record-setting run and Aldajuste's appearance in the weight throw finals.
