The Keiser women's indoor track & field team will send three qualifiers to the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships, set for March 5–7 in Gainesville, Fla.
The Seahawks return to the national stage following a strong conference championship performance that included school records and national qualifying marks.
Niesha Aldajuste, Senior, Coral Springs, Fla.
- Weight Throw – 18.08m
- Aldajuste placed second at the Sun Conference Championship while setting a school record with a throw of 18.08 meters, achieving the NAIA A standard. She enters nationals as one of the top weight throwers in the field.
- The women's weight throw will begin Friday at 12:00 p.m.
Camille Romero, Sophomore, Pichincha, Ecuador
- 800m Run – 2:18.64
- Romero earned a runner-up finish at the Sun Conference Championship in the 800 meters and will compete at nationals in the middle-distance event.
- The women's 800m will begin Friday at 3:15 p.m.
Romee Van Dam, Sophomore, Amsterdam, Netherlands
- 60m Hurdles – 8.80
- Van Dam placed second at the Sun Conference Championship while setting a school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.80, achieving the NAIA B standard.
- The women's 60m hurdles will begin Friday at 12:30 p.m.
Keiser's women will aim to build on their record-setting performances as they compete for All-America honors on the national stage.
