Softball Travels to Viera for Six-Game Spring Break Stretch

VIERA, Fla. – The Keiser University softball team will head to Viera this weekend to compete in the Space Coast Spring Games, playing six games over four days as part of its non-conference slate.

The Seahawks open play on Friday, March 6, taking on the University of St. Francis at 2:30 p.m., followed by a 4:45 p.m. matchup against Grace College. Action continues Saturday, March 7, with games against Mount Marty University (11:15 a.m.) and Lawrence Tech (1:30 p.m.). After a rest day Sunday, Keiser closes the event Monday, March 9, facing Olivet Nazarene University at 2:30 p.m. and Cornerstone University at 4:45 p.m.

The week-long tournament serves as a key stretch before conference play begins later this month, with one final non-conference matchup remaining on April 8 against Florida National.

Keiser enters the Spring Games carrying strong early-season momentum and will look to continue sharpening both sides of the game against a variety of opponents from across the country. The neutral-site format provides the Seahawks an opportunity to test depth in the circle, continue developing offensive consistency, and build rhythm heading into the heart of the schedule.

The pitching staff has been a key strength throughout the early portion of the season, consistently limiting opposing offenses and keeping the Seahawks in control of games. Offensively, Keiser has shown the ability to manufacture runs, use speed on the bases, and deliver timely hits in key moments.

With six games in four days, depth and execution will be critical as the Seahawks aim to build momentum heading toward conference competition.

Following the Space Coast Spring Games, Keiser will begin shifting its primary focus to conference play as the postseason picture starts to take shape.
