No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving

No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving Remains in Front on Day Two of NAIA Championship

No. 1 Keiser Men's Swimming and Diving built their lead to over 100 points on Thursday night at the NAIA National Championships in Elkhart, Indiana. The Seahawks are up to two individual national championships, two relay national championships, eight All-Americans, and three All-American relay teams.

Meet Notes
  • In the first event of day one, Fuhrmann, De Geus, Aleksenko, and Boeckmann claimed the top spot in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:25.42
  • Avilan then took first in the 3-Meter Dive with a new meet record of 367.65 points
  • In the 500 Free, Menzel finished fourth with a season-best time of 4:28.80
  • Aleksenko then broke the NAIA record in the 200 IM with a ridiculous time of 1:44.48
    • He broke the school record in the prelims with a time of 1:46.20
  • In the 50 Free, De Geus, Boeckmann, and Fuhrmann all took home All-America honors
  • The 200 Free Relay team of De Geus, Aleksenko, Boeckmann, and Fuhrmann closed out the night with a NAIA and meet record at 1:18.27
