No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving

Men's Swimming and Diving Collects Four CSC Academic All-District Honors

On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2025-26 CSC All-District Team in men's swimming & diving. Keiser secured four honorees on the team.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Swimming & Diving Team, selected by the CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC All-District team is separately recognized swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Alex Menzel, Nicklas Pedersen, Marcel Setlak, and Carlos Trinidad were recognized as Academic District honorees. The Seahawks will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where the first, second and third teams will be chosen. 


Alex Menzel, Fourth Year, Cologne, Germany 
  • Achieved a 3.80 GPA in business administration 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • Achieved All-America honors in the 500 Free, 1650 Free, 400 IM, and 800 Free Relay
  • Also claimed all-conference honors in the 1650 Free
  • Set a personal best in the 400 IM at nationals with a time of 3:55.77

​​​​​​Nicklas Pedersen, Third Year, Alsgarde, Denkmark
  • Achieved a 3.93 GPA in integrated marketing communications 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • Grabbed All-America honors in the 100 Back and 200 Back
  • Set a season best in the 200 Back with a time of 1:46.88
  • Also a two-time all-conference member in the 200 Back and 400 Medley Relay

Marcel Setlak, Third Year, Gdansk, Poland
  • Earned a 3.60 GPA in business administration with a concentration in finance 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • Garnered All-American honors in the 100 Back and 200 Back 
  • Placed third in both events at the NAIA National Championships
  • His time of 1:46.36 in the 200 Back was a new personal best

Carlos Trinidad, Senior Year, Mérida, Spain
  • Attained a 3.77 GPA in integrated marketing communications 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors for a second time this year 
  • He was a part of the 400 Free Relay team that set an NAIA record at nationals with a time of 2:53.68
  • Led off the race with the fastest 100 Free of his career at 44.90
  • Garnered All-America honors in the 200 Free, 400 Free Relay, and 800 Free Relay
