No. 11 Softball Host Webber International Before Traveling to Miami Gardens to Face Florida Memorial

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Keiser University softball team returns to Alumni Field this week to continue Sun Conference play with a three-game series against Webber International before hitting the road the following weekend to face Florida Memorial in Miami Gardens.

The Seahawks will open the Webber series with a single game on Tuesday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m., before concluding with a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the second game scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Keiser will then travel to Miami Gardens to take on Florida Memorial, with a single game on Friday at 3:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the second game scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

Keiser enters the stretch with a 28-2 overall record and has been one of the most dominant teams in the conference throughout the early portion of the season. The Seahawks have relied on a balanced offensive attack and a deep pitching staff to control games on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, Keiser is led by Faith Campos, who is batting .421 while pacing the team with 26 stolen bases. Kaci Kidd has been one of the team's most consistent hitters, batting .406 while leading the Seahawks with 41 hits and 11 doubles. Meanwhile, Genesis Iglesias has provided the power in the middle of the lineup, hitting .346 with six home runs and a team-leading 28 RBI.

Several other Seahawks have provided depth throughout the lineup. Macy Schaaf is batting .388 with 17 RBI, while Sarah Phipps has added 21 RBI and continues to deliver timely hits in key moments. Olivia Shoemaker has also been productive in limited opportunities, hitting .375 with 12 RBI.

In the circle, Keiser features one of the most effective pitching staffs in the conference. Mackenzie Masternak leads the NAIA in wins with a 17-1 record and has thrown 118.1 innings while compiling strikeouts at a consistent rate throughout the season. Maggie Miller has been dominant when called upon, posting a 1.79 ERA with three saves, while Presley Wright adds additional depth with a 4-1 record and a 2.47 ERA.

Webber International enters the series looking to find their footing in conference play, while Florida Memorial will present another Sun Conference challenge the following weekend as the Seahawks continue to build momentum heading deeper into the schedule.
