Women's Basketball Travels to Lakeland for Sun Conference Tournament

Keiser Seahawks women's basketball heads to Lakeland this week for the final rounds of the Sun Conference Tournament after earning a bye into the semifinals as the No. 2 seed.

Keiser closed the regular season with a 1–1 record from last week, falling to Florida Memorial University on Senior Night before bouncing back with a 64–63 victory over College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick in the regular-season finale.

The postseason honors followed, as three Seahawks earned All-Conference recognition. Caidyn Cannon and Satori Griffin were named First-Team All-Conference selections, while Avrie Schmidt garnered Second-Team honors.

Keiser will take on No. 6 seed Webber International University in Friday's Sun Conference Semifinals, with tip-off set for 7:15 p.m. A win would send the Seahawks to Saturday's championship game at 6:00 p.m., where they would face the winner of No. 1 seed Southeastern and No. 5 seed St. Thomas.
