Keiser women's indoor track & field opened Day 1 of the Legends of Alachua County Invitational on Saturday with strong performances in the throws and middle-distance events.

Senior Niesha Aldajuste led the Seahawks with a second-place finish in the weight throw, recording a top mark of 17.19 meters to earn a podium finish. Trinity Dorvil added depth in the event, placing 10th overall with a throw of 12.57 meters.

On the track, Camille Romero turned in a strong performance in the 600 meters, finishing fifth overall with a time of 1:40.25 to round out the Seahawks' top results on the day.
