Keiser women's indoor track & field completed Day 1 of the RADD Sports College Invitational on Friday with several notable performances, highlighted by a national-qualifying effort from senior Niesha Aldajuste and multiple personal and program records.
Aldajuste led the Seahawks in the throws, placing third in the weight throw with a mark of 17.15 meters, meeting the NAIA B standard and securing an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships. She also competed in the shot put, finishing seventh overall with a throw of 10.85 meters.
Trinity Dorvil added depth in the throws, placing 10th in the weight throw with a mark of 12.76 meters and ninth in the shot put with a toss of 10.56 meters.
On the track, Camille Romero recorded a personal record in the 600 meters, placing seventh overall with a time of 1:40.78. Gracie Zacarias delivered a standout performance in the 300-meter dash, finishing 17th while setting a new school record with a time of 44.13.
In the distance events, Eva Vrancken posted a personal record in the 3000 meters, crossing the line in 11:43.82.
