Shea Spencer was named this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

- The award marks the first weekly award of the season for Spencer and the second of his career
- Led the Keiser offense to 42 points versus the Cumberlands (Ky.) Patriots on Saturday as the Seahawks improved to 3-0 on the year
- Completing 20-of-31 passes for 239 yards, Spencer tossed three TD passes to increase his career total to 57
- It was also the 11th time in program history a QB has registered three passing touchdowns in a game
- It also marked the 17th game Spencer has thrown for over 200 yards
- He threw a 71-yad touchdown pass to Maurico Porcha on Saturday which tied for the fourth-longest TD pass in Keiser history - Spencer has completed a 71-yard TD pass three times in his career
- He leads the conference in completion percentage (66.7 percent)
- On the year, Spencer has completed 48-of-72 passes for 504 yards and four touchdowns
The Seahawks will host the Thomas (Ga.) Night Hawks on Saturday, October 4. Kick off from the Keiser Football Field is set for 6:00 PM.
