On Wednesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2024-25 CSC All-America Teams in men's swimming & diving.
Juan Gonzalez was selected to the All-America First Team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-American Men's Swimming & Diving Team, selected by the CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC All-America team separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Gonzalez was selected as the NAIA Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.
Juan Gonzalez, Fourth Year, Medellin, Colombia
- Attained a 4.00 GPA in his master of business administration
- Earned NAIA Diver of the Year honors
- Gonzalez won the 1-Meter Dive NAIA National Championship with a score of 305.20
- He was also the National Champion in the 3-Meter dive with a score of 341.30
- At the the SUN Conference Championship, he broke the meet record and Keiser program record in the 1-Meter dive with a score of 335.85
- One day later, he broke the meet record and school record in the 3-meter dive with a score of 375.85
