No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving

Men's Swimming and Diving Garners Four CSC Academic All-District Honors

On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2024-25 CSC All-District Team in men's swimming & diving. Keiser secured four honorees on the team.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Swimming & Diving Team, selected by the CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC All-District team is separately recognized swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Juan Gonzalez, Fynn Kunze, Alex Kusik and Matheus Queiroz were recognized as Academic District honorees. The Seahawks will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where the first, second and third teams will be chosen. 


​​​​​​Juan Gonzalez, Fourth Year, Medellin, Colombia
  • Attained a 4.00 GPA in his master of business administration 
  • Earned NAIA Diver of the Year honors 
  • Gonzalez won the 1-Meter Dive NAIA National Championship with a score of 305.20
  • He was also the National Champion in the 3-Meter dive with a score of 341.30
  • Athe the SUN Conference Championship, he broke the meet record and Keiser program record in the 1-Meter dive with a score of 335.85
  • One day later, he broke the meet record and school record in the 3-meter dive with a score of 375.85

Fynn Kunze, Fourth Year, Goettingen, Germany 
  • Achieved a 3.83 GPA in business administration with a concentration in management 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • Kunze claimed the National Championship in the 200 IM for the second time in his career
  • He also collected All-American honors in the 200 Back and 200 Breast 
  • Kunze earned all-conference honors in the 200 Breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM
  • Owns the school record in the 200 Back with a time of 1:45.20

Alex Kusik, Fourth Year, Rovinka, Slovakia
  • Earned a 3.72 GPA in applied engineering 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • Garnered All-American honors in the 200 IM, 200 Back, and 200 Breast 
  • Set a new personal best in the 200 Breast at nationals with a time of 1:59.73
  • Kusik earned All-Conference honors in the 200 IM
  • Owns the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.76

Matheus Queiroz, Second Year, Sao Paolo, Brazil
  • Attained a 3.50 GPA in business administration with a concentration in management 
  • Collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Sun Conference All-Academic honors this winter 
  • He was a part of the 400 Free Relay team that set an NAIA Championship meet record with a time of 2:54.93
  • Also a part of the 400 Medley Relay that broke the NAIA record, school record, and meet record with a time of 3:10.52
  • Queiroz earned All-American honors in the 50 Free, 100 Back, 100 Free, 400 Medley Relay, and 400 Free Relay 
  • He set five personal best this season in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 500 Free, 100 Back, and 100 Fly
