No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving

No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving Adds On to Lead After Third Day of NAIA Championship

No. 1 Keiser Men's Swimming and Diving continued to cushion their lead in the NAIA National Championships on Friday night in Elkhart, Ind. The Seahawks won five individual national championships and added 13 All-Americans in addition to a national championship in the 400 Medley Relay.

  • Alex Menzel opened the day with a podium finish in the 400 IM at 4:00.70
  • After taking the pool record in the morning, Isaiah Aleksenko topped it at night with a 46.01 performance
  • Jake Hutchinson claimed his first individual title with a 1:37.14 in the 200 Free
  • Noel De Geus repeated as National Champion for the third consecutive year in the 100 Breast with a time of 51.73
  • Aleksenko was back in the pool for the 100 Back where he broke an NAIA record that stood for 11 years to the day with a time of 46.12
  • In diving, Juan Gonzalez was as good as ever with a 305.20-point performance that earned him his second National Championship of the meet
  • Pedersen, De Geus, Aleksenko, and Queiroz closed out the night with the fastest 400 Medley in NAIA history, clocking in at 3:10.52
