No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving

No. 1 Men's Swimming & Diving Sweeps Opening Day at Open NAIA Championships

The No. 1 Keiser Men's Swimming and Diving team took all three events on day one of the NAIA National Championships, winning the 200 Medley Relay, 3 Meter Dive, and the 800 Free Relay to take the early lead at the Elkhart Aquatics Center.

  • The 200 Medley Relay team of Aleksenko, de Geus, Hutchinson, and Boeckmann kicked off the meet breaking every record possible with a time of 1:24.22
  • Gonzalez followed it up with a championship performance in the 3 Meter Dive, beating his nearest opponent by over 40 points
  • The end of the meet brought more fireworks as Hutchinson, Menzel, Aleksenko, and Fuhrmann broke the NAIA record in the 800 Free Relay with a time of 6:28.31
