The Keiser University women's indoor track and field was in action again this weekend, and the Seahawks were able to send another athlete to NAIA nationals while setting a school record.
Niesha Aldajuste set the Keiser record in the weight throw for the second straight week. The reigning Sun Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week also placed inside the top-10 of the women's shot put. In total, the Seahawks had six top-10 finishes.Â

"This was an amazing weekend to build on for conference!" said head coach
Jamaine Gordon. "We had multiple national qualifiers and even broke some school records. I have no doubt that this will give our team that extra boost of confidence for the upcoming conference championship meet."

The Seahawks will be back in Gainesville to chase a championship next weekend at the Sun Conference Indoor Championship, starting Friday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m.
