Jamaine Gordon will be entering his sixth season as the Head Coach of the Keiser University Track & Field program.

Gordon’s Guidance
  • Coached five NAIA Indoor National Champions (Anthony Applequist, 2019, triple jump), (Philip Stome, 2021, heptathlon), (Harriet Tuson, 2022, 600m), (Cole Wilson, 2022-23, heptathlon) and one NAIA Outdoor National Champion (Tom Paris, 2022, Pole Vault)
  • Led the outdoor men's team to a program-best seventh place finish in 2022
  • Aided in the men’s team finishing third at the 2019 NAIA Indoor National Championship
  • In indoor, Gordon has coached 23 NAIA All-Americans and two relay teams
  • During outdoor, he has coached twelve NAIA All-Americans
  • On the men’s side, he has 105 individual All-Conference athletes and eleven All-Conference relay teams
  • Guided 51 men to Conference Championships and three relay teams to a Sun Conference Title
  • The women have produced 51 individual All-Conference athletes and eight All-Conference relay teams
  • Coached the women to 14 individual Conference Championships and one relay Conference Championship
  • In the classroom, track & field has brought in 32 Academic All-Conference awards
2025 (Track and Field)
  • Led five Seahawk women and 14 Seahawk men to conference champion status
  • Sent 23 athletes to NAIA Nationals
  • 12 school records were set
  • Yanis Le Mouillour was named Sun Conference Cross Country and Indoor Track Freshman of the Year
  • Keiser men placed third overall at SUN Indoor Championships and fifth in outdoor
  • Seahawk women placed 5th overall at SUN Indoor Championships and 5th in outdoor

2024 (Track and Field)
  • Helped Sacha Gangloff become an indoor long jump All-American with a 7.17m mark. 
  • Seven Seahawks were named Academic All-Conference. 
  • Will Hill was named Sun Conference Indoor and Outdoor Freshman of the Year.
  • Yasmine Rogers swept the Sun Conference Indoor and Outdoor Freshman of the Year award.
  • 13 school records were set. 
  • Eight Seahawks became conference champions during the outdoor season. 
  • Three indoor conference champions each for the men’s and women's team. 
  • Three Seahawks from the women’s outdoor team became conference champions, along with five from the men's team. 
2023 (Track & Field)
  • Led the Keiser Men's Indoor Team to a No. 3 national ranking, and a No. 8 national ranking in outdoor. 
  • Coached Cole Wilson to a national championship in the indoor heptathlon, with 5347 points. 
  • Collected five conference champions in the indoor season, and six during outdoor.
  • Totaled 11 All-Americans on the year. 
  • 25 new school records were set.
  • Oversaw Keiser's record breaking women's 4x400m relay team that turned in a 3:59.62 time.
2022 (Track & Field)
  • Led Harriet Tuson to a 600m Indoor National Championship with a time of 1:32.66
  • Coached Tom Paris to an Outdoor National Championship in the Pole Vault with a height of 5.00m
  • Instructed four indoor NAIA All-Americans and four outdoor NAIA All-Americans
  • Led the men's and women's teams to second-place finishes at the Sun Conference Indoor Championship
  • Aided in the men's team finishing second at the Sun Conference Outdoor Championship while the women finished sixth
  • Through the indoor season, coached six individual Conference Champions, 15 All-Conference honors, and four All-Conference relay teams
  • Instructed the Freshman Indoor and Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year and the Indoor Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year, Cole Wilson 
  • Collected eight individual Conference Championships, 23 All-Conference honors, and one All-Conference relay in outdoor
 
2021 (Track & Field)
  • Guided Philip Stomne to an Indoor National Championship in the heptathlon with a point total of 5,211
  • Had two indoor NAIA All-Americans and two outdoor NAIA All-Americans
  • Guided the men's and women's teams to a third-place finish in the inaugural Sun Conference Indoor Championship and Outdoor Championship
  • During the indoor season, produced three individual and one relay Conference Championship, 13 All-Conference honors, and five All-Conference relay teams
  • Instructed the Indoor Freshman and Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year, Philip Stomne
  • Amassed three individual and one relay Conference Championship, 12 All-Conference honors, and two All-Conference relay teams in outdoor
  • The team set 21 new school records during the indoor and outdoor seasons
  • In the classroom, the team collected 11 Academic All-Conference awards

2020 (Track & Field)
  • The Seahawks completed the indoor season and competed in one outdoor meet when the season was canceled by the NAIA on Mar. 16
  • Coached Chris Grinley to his second straight NAIA All-American honor for the indoor season in the 60-meter hurdles
  • Had two men qualify for the NAIA Indoor National Championship
  • Three women and three men earned Academic All-Conference honors and NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition
 
2019 (Track & Field)
  • Aided in the men’s team finishing third at the 2019 NAIA Indoor National Championship
  • Led Anthony Applequist to an Indoor National Championship with a leap of 15.54 meters in the triple jump
  • Led the men’s team to a third place finish at conference and the women to a fifth place finish
  • On the men’s side, coached eight All-Conference and eight All-Americans including six in indoor and two during outdoor. Gordon also coached one All-Conference relay team
  • Gordon guided four All-Conference athletes on the women’s side
  • Guided two men to conference championships and one relay team
  • Helped the men’s team reach No. 3 in the USTFCCCA national coaches poll during the indoor season
  • In the classroom, the team had seven Academic All-Conference awards
 
Pre-Keiser
Prior to his arrival at Keiser, Gordon spent five years as the Head Coach at Lindsey Wilson, one year as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach at Western Kentucky, and three years at Union College as the Head Coach.

While at Lindsey Wilson, Gordon coached four NAIA National Champions in the women's 100-meter, men's long jump, and a two-time triple jump champion. In his time, Gordon led the men's team to four outdoor and one indoor Mid-South championships and four outdoor and two indoor Mid-South titles on the women's side. For his efforts, he was a four-time Mid-South Coach of the Year and two-time Kentucky Coach of the Year. At the national level, he led the men's team to their best finish in 2017 of fourth.

In his 11-year coaching career, he has mentored 165 All-Conference athletes, 102 national qualifiers, 68 All-Americans, 23 Academic All-Americans, nine Conference Athletes of the Year, nine National Champions, and eight Freshman of the Year.

Playing Career
Gordon ran track & field at Lindsey Wilson, winning the NAIA National Championship in the long jump during the 2005 season. He was a five-time All-American in the triple jump and three-time All-American in the long jump. In addition, he won the Mid-South championship once in the long jump and triple jump.
 
Personal
Gordon graduated from Lindsey Wilson with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication and an Associate of Arts in Social Sciences.
