Daniela Torres-Logrono of the Keiser track and field team has been honored as the Sun Conference Women's Track and Field Champion of Character, as announced by the league office this afternoon.

- Torres-Logrono has been engaged in the community since coming to West Palm Beach, and is a volunteer at local track meets, conducts surveys at the Orange Blossom in Miami, and supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- She has quickly developed a reputation as a friendly, helpful personality on campus, and works with the Keiser Gameday Operations team
- The sophomore from Riobamba, Ecuador has excelled academically and was named to the President and Dean's list
- Torres-Logrono states that a major goal of hers is to strive for excellence in everything she does, whether on the track, in the classroom, or in her community, all while uplifting those around her
- This is the second year in a row that Keiser women's track and field has had a recipient of this award (Ah'leeyah Strappier in 2024)

The Seahawks will be in Gainesville, Fla. for NAIA Nationals, beginning February 27.Â
