Rushing for a career-high 152 yards in a 49-3 win over Thomas (Ga.) this past Saturday, senior running back
Dillon Simon was named this week's Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

- The award marks the first weekly award of the season for Simon and the first of his career
- Rushed for a career-high 152 yards on just seven carries, scoring twice in Keiser's win over Thomas (Ga.), 49-3
- His performance included an 85-yard touchdown run - the second-longest in program history - as part of a record-setting day for the Seahawks' ground game
- Averaging 21.7 yards per carry, Simon helped the Seahawks produce a program-best 398 yards on the ground to go along with the school record for total offense (692 yards)
- He also scored on a 13-yard touchdown run to give Keiser a 21-0 lead in the first
- He is third in the conference in rushing yards per game and leads the league in yards per rush
- On the year, Simon has rushed for 232 yards on 15 carries with three touchdowns, averaging 15.5 yards per carry and over 77 yards per contest
The Seahawks will travel to Miami Gardens to take on the Florida Memorial Lions on Saturday, October 11. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
