The No. 2-ranked Keiser Seahawks used a school record in total offense (692 yards) to earn a 49-3 win over the Thomas (Ga.) Night Hawks on Saturday evening from the Keiser Football Stadium.
Notching a program-best 398 yards on the ground, the Seahawks over 600 yards of total offense for just the second time in team history (607 versus Pikeville [Ky.] – 11/30/2024).
Running back
Dillon Simon had a career night, rushing for 152 yards on seven carries with two touchdowns. Averaging 21.7 yards per carry, the third-year Seahawk produced the second longest rushing touchdown in program history with an 85-yard score in the second quarter. Joining Simon with 100 yards was
Jaden Miller, who registered 141 yards on 11 carries with one touchdown.
Through the air, the Seahawks amassed 294 yards on 16-of-26 passing and two touchdowns.
Shea Spencer completed 13-of-23 passes for 229 yards and both scores, becoming the first player in Keiser history to throw for over 7,000 yards in a career (7,032). Spencer connected twice with
Elisha Edwards, caught three passes for 101 yards. It marked the first 100-yard receiving game of his Keiser career.
On the ground,
Dillon Simon posted 80 yards on eight carries with one rushing touchdown while
Jaden Miller found the endzone two times on 16 carries for 69 yards.
The defense held the Night Hawks to 246 yards of total offense and just 103 yards passing. Keiser produced nine tackles for loss led by
Kedrick Burley, who recorded 3.0 versus TU.
Jesse Wilkins III and
Tai Lologo each registered interceptions in the game.
