No. 1 Keiser University men's swimming & diving placed second at the FIU TYR Fall Classic over the weekend. The Seahawks ended the meet with 601.9 points, trailing Division I Florida Atlantic University who totaled 648.4 points.
Isaiah Aleksenko topped the Keiser individuals with wins in the 100 Fly and 200 Fly while placing second in the 200 Free.
Noel De Geus also took home two first-place finishes, winning the 100 Breast and 200 Breast events.
The Seahawks return to the pool on Thursday, October 9, when they travel up to face SCAD Savannah and Milligan in a two-day tri-meet. The meet will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Chatham County Swimming Pool.

- This was the first time the FIU TYR Fall Classic was held at the Doral Central Park Aquatic Center
- With it being the first meet at the new pool, the Seahawks claimed five pool records
- Marcel Setlak and Dawid Malik both made their debuts for KU at the meet
- Malik was part of both freestyle relays that finished second
- Setlak earned a third-place finish in the 100 Back while competing on the 400 Medley Relay team that took second
- Alexander Menzel placed second in the 500 Free and finished the meet with a third-place finish in the 400 IM
- Hanno Boeckmann also took home a pair of second-place finishes with results in the 50 Free and 100 Free
- At the diving well, Jace Champlin placed second in the 1-meter and 3-meter events, already securing national qualifying marks
