The Keiser softball team will be fighting for the league championship this weekend at the Sun Conference Softball tournament in Clearwater, Fla. The Seahawks come into the tournament in the midst of the best season in program history, and are ranked fourth in the Sun Conference standings.

• Three-time First Team All-SUN honoree Lizzy Small has thrown 11 complete games this year, with two shutouts.
• Second Team All-SUN choice Macy Schaaf has scored 32 runs this year, with 19 stolen bases.
• Kelsey Ganci has caught 11 runners stealing this season, a total that leads the conference. 
• Freshman shortstop Genesis Iglesias leads the Sun Conference in total assists (135). 
• The Seahawks have defeated three ranked teams this season. 
• With a win on Thursday morning, the Seahawks will play No. 1 seed Coastal Georgia at 4:00 p.m. that afternoon.
• With a loss, the Seahawks would play the loser of St. Thomas versus the loser of Southeastern versus Warner at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
