The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its all-region teams for the 2024 volleyball season Thursday afternoon as chosen by the NAIA Selection Committee. Keiser notched two selections with
Mackenzie Pryor earning first-team recognition and being named the Southeast Region Player of the Year.
Faith Marquis was named an honorable mention selection.
AVCA All-Southeast Region
Faith Marquis, Third Year, Libero, Gainesville, Florida
- Named as an Honorable Mention her first season at Keiser
- Earned First-Team All-Sun recognition as a libero
- Played in a total of 121 sets for the Seahawks
- The junior totaled 645 digs this season, breaking the school record becoming the all-time leader at Keiser
- She tallied 50 service aces
- Marquis was named the SUN Defender of the Week four times this season
- She reached a season high of 31 digs versus Southeastern (9/21)
Mackenzie Pryor, Third Year, OH, Hagerstown, Md
- Named the Southeast Region Player of the Year as an outside hitter
- Named 2024 Sun Conference Player of the Year
- She was named the NAIA Attacker of the Week twice this season
- Achieved First-Team All-Sun Conference for the first time in her career
- Played in 119 sets for the Seahawks
- Pryor set the school record in her first game of the season with 32 kills in four sets versus Mobile (8/15)
- Ranks second all-time for kills in a single-season (623)
- Led the NAIA in kills
- Recorded 41 service aces on the year
- Posted 21 double-doubles this season
- She has been named Attacker of the Week in the Sun Conference on nine occasions
