The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced its 2024 AFCA NAIA Coaches' All-America Teams on Wednesday.
Andrew Burnette was recognized by the AFCA for his play during the 2024 season, earning Third-Team All-America honors.
The AFCA's NAIA All-America Selection Committee is made up of two head coaches from each of the AFCA's seven districts, one of whom serves as a district chairman, along with another head coach who serves as the chairman of the selection committee. The coaches in each district are responsible for ranking the top players in their respective districts prior to a conference call between the district chairmen and the committee chairman on which the team is chosen.

Andrew Burnette, Third Year, RB, Jensen Beach, Fla.
- Named a Third-Team AFCA All-American for the first time in his career
- Collected First-Team All-Sun Conference honors at running back
- Appeared all 11 games for the Seahawks, starting in five
- Rushed for 1,238 on 195 carries (6.7 ypc) with 16 rushing touchdowns
- His 1,238 yards are No. 7 in the NAIA
- Ranks No. 9 in rushing touchdowns
- Is No. 19 in the nation in yards per carry
- Had seven 100-yard rushing games, including a career-high 172 yards at Thomas (Ga.)
- Ranks No. 11 in the NAIA in rushing yards per game (112.5)
- Became the third running back in Keiser history to record 1,000 yards in a season (Marquis Burgess - 2021, 2022 & Jaden Meizinger - 2023)
- His current rushing total ranks No. 3 at Keiser in rushing yards in a season
- Has scored a rushing touchdown in 10 straight games
- Had multiple rushing touchdowns in three games (3 versus Newberry College, Thomas [Ga.], Florida Memorial)
The Seahawks will host the NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinals versus the No. 9-ranked Benedictine (Kan.) Ravens. Kickoff from the Keiser Football Field is set for 1:00 PM.
