Tom Paris Earns All-American Status as Keiser Concludes NAIA Nationals

The Keiser track and field team wrapped up competition at NAIA Nationals today. The Seahawk men's team finished 14th overall, with 20 points. Tom Paris became an All-American for the second time in 2023, with a pole vault mark that ranks third all-time in Keiser program history (5.00m). The Seahawks ended their time in Marion with four NAIA All-Americans, and one school record. This is the KU men's third top-15 finish in school history. (7th in 2022, 13th in 2018). Keiser now has 21 All-Americans in program history. Julien David is now a two-time All-American in the javelin throw. With Wilson and Steenwinkel's All-America honors this season, Keiser now has five All-Americans in the decathlon in program history.

Coach's Corner
  "This was a good learning experience on how step up to the competition," said head coach Jamaine Gordon. "We will be even more successful next year with most of our team returning. I'm proud of this team and how they battled all year."
