The Keiser track and field team began competition at NAIA nationals this afternoon and netted two new school records.
Julien David broke the KU record in the javelin throw, becoming an NAIA All-American in the process. The men's 4x100 relay team qualified for the final round and also set a new school record.
Nigel Steenwinkel set a meet record in the 100m dash portion of the decathlon (10.87).
