The Keiser University outdoor track and field team hit the ground running on the opening day of the Sun Conference Outdoor Championship this afternoon. The Seahawks had two conference champions, and
Carrington Kirby set a new school record in the discus throw. Kirby's mark is also a Sun Conference Championship meet record. So far, four Seahawk men have reached All-Conference status.
The Seahawk men are currently in first place overall with 80 points.
