Keiser wrestling made a few statements at one of the largest invitationals of the season on Friday, sending two wrestlers on to the second day.

• Bryce Cockrell won his opening-round matchup before taking three more wins in the consolation bracket and will wrestle No. 11 Joseph Lupton to begin the day tomorrow.
• Adam El Damir continues to shine after falling to the No. 7 ranked wrestler in the country, El Damir piled up three consecutive wins to make his way to tomorrow's round where he will face Cullen Bruner in the fifth consolation round.
• Brett Bosserman picked up his first win of the year in dominant fashion as he won by major decision against his opponent from Benedictine.
• Joseph Gallo and Bryce Gonzalez each had strong days in their respective brackets, going 2-2 on the day.
• The second day of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. with consolation round 5.
