Ruby Vernon equalized in the 48th minute and Keiser dominated the run of play the rest of the way, but the Seahawks could not find a winner in a 2-2 draw at St. Thomas on Wednesday night.
Keiser remains unbeaten at 5-0-2 on the season, while the Bobcats moved to 3-4-2.
St. Thomas struck first in the ninth minute, as Leenah Bigby finished a feed from Natalie Woodward to put the hosts in front. The Seahawks answered before the break when Blanca Bächi buried her first goal of the season in the 38th minute, set up by Avril Amil Ruiz.
The lead swung back to St. Thomas just before halftime, with Maria Mendes converting a Julia Ezcurra assist in the 45th minute to send the Bobcats into the break ahead, 2-1. Keiser needed less than three minutes of the second half to respond as Vernon struck unassisted in the 48th minute for her second goal of the year to level the match at 2-2.
The Seahawks pressed relentlessly from there without reward. Keiser finished with a 23-10 edge in shots and a 13-5 advantage in shots on goal, along with an 8-0 margin in corner kicks. The Bobcats' goalkeeper Emma Butcher was the difference, turning aside 11 shots to earn the point for the hosts. Mio Tanaka made three saves for Keiser.
Bächi led all players with eight shots, while Vernon and Haley Miller added three apiece. Bigby paced St. Thomas with six shots and three on frame.
