The Keiser Seahawks went 0-2 on the second day of the Vette City Classic, falling to Lindsey Wilson (3-1) in the morning session and Fisk (3-1) in the afternoon at Ephram White Gym. The results left Keiser 1-3 for the two-day tournament and 3-5 overall on the season.
In the first game of the day versus Lindsey Wilson, Keiser battled through four sets against the host Blue Raiders but couldn't finish off the upset bid after taking Set Three. Makenzi Bennett was the offensive engine, pacing all Seahawks with a career-high 18 kills on a .225 hitting percentage to go with a team-high 18 digs, headlining a stat line worth 22.5 points. Cece Worsham added 11 kills, and Addison Chapman chipped in eight kills with a match-high two blocks assisted.
On the setting side, the Seahawks split duties between Mallory Dills (27 assists) and Amie Molina (24 assists), while libero Reese Jones collected 11 digs to help anchor the back row.
After stealing the opening set of the team's final tournament match, Keiser couldn't sustain the momentum against Fisk, dropping the final three sets. Cece Worsham and Makenzi Bennett shared the load up front with 11 kills apiece — Worsham's afternoon was worth a team-best 14.5 points and included three of the team's service aces, while Bennett also posted a team-high eight digs. Aubree Valcourt was Keiser's most efficient hitter, going for eight kills on a .312 clip.
Mallory Dills ran the offense with 21 assists, and libero Reese Jones led the defense with 13 digs.
On the day, Bennett led all Seahawks with 29 kills followed by Worsham with 22. Bennett also led Keiser in digs (26), aces (5), and total points (35.0) over the day's two matches.
Bennett (32 kills, 69 digs, 11 aces) and Worsham (51 kills and 43 digs) emerged as Keiser's most consistent offensive threats across the weekend, while Dills (110 assists / 6.11 per set) quarterbacked the offense from the setter position all four matches.Â

- Worsham has recorded double-digit kills in seven straight games (team best)
- Bennett set a career mark in kills with 18 versus LWU
- She also collected 18 digs for her first double-double of the season and fourth of her Keiser career
- Addison Chapman finished the weekend with 13 total blocks (2 solo, 11 assisted) and now leads the team with 21.0 on the year
- Mallory Dills posted 110 total assists during this weekend's classic, averaging 6.11 per set
- Dills has recorded 20-or-more assists in seven of the team's eight matches this season
