WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – (rv) Keiser Baseball swept a home doubleheader against No. 25 St. Thomas (Fla.) at Silvester Jr. Field on Saturday, winning the opener 4-2 before closing out the afternoon with a 6-1 victory in the nightcap. The Seahawks improve to 30-14 on the season and 14-9 in conference play, while game two marked head coach Brook Fordyce's 300th career win at Keiser following a pregame ceremony honoring the program's 14 seniors.

In game one, a seven-inning contest, both teams were held scoreless through the first three innings before St. Thomas broke through with two runs in the fourth on a two-RBI single from Eddie Novoa. Keiser answered in the bottom half when Jake Olsen came around to score on a sacrifice fly from Karson Nadal to cut the deficit to 2-1. The Seahawks took control in the sixth, loading the bases before Jeremy Garcia tied the game with a sacrifice fly. Elian Collado followed with an RBI single to give Keiser the lead, and Olsen added an insurance run after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 4-2. Austin Taylor tossed a complete-game effort, allowing two runs while striking out nine to earn his seventh win of the season. Collado and Olsen each recorded two hits, while Garcia and Nadal each drove in a run.

Game two saw Keiser break through in the fourth inning when Andres Balart drew a bases-loaded walk and Jeremy Garcia followed with an RBI single to make it 2-0. The Seahawks added another run in the fifth on a wild pitch before St. Thomas plated its lone run in the seventh. Keiser put the game away in the eighth when Elian Collado led off with a triple and Jake Olsen delivered the big swing with a three-run home run to extend the lead to 6-1. Olsen paced the offense going 2-for-5 with a double, home run, and three RBI, while Garcia added three hits and an RBI. Collado also contributed with a triple and a run scored.

Kyle Keyes earned the win in game two, working 6.1 innings and allowing just one run, while Seth Broadwell recorded the final outs to secure his third save of the season. Across the doubleheader, Keiser pitching limited St. Thomas to just three total runs.
