No. 2 Men's Lacrosse Completes Perfect AAC Regular Season with 22-8 win at No. 10 Webber Int'l

No. 2 Keiser men's lacrosse (10-0, 9-0 AAC) secured a decisive 22-8 victory over Webber International University (FL) (8-7, 4-5 AAC) on Saturday to close out the regular season. The Seahawks' offensive strength was highlighted by seven extra-man goals, solidifying their undefeated record as Keiser claimed its second straight Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season title.

Ryan Rundle scored the first goal at 12:37, and Kegan Hufford followed with another just nine seconds later, assisted by Rayburn. The Seahawks continued to dominate, adding goals from Rundle, Ryan Stowell, JP Prather, and Braeden Niemy, establishing a 6-0 lead by 2:58.

The Warriors responded late in the quarter with two goals, one from Isaiah Espaillat on a man-up opportunity and another from Sam Shields, narrowing the deficit to 6-2. The first quarter concluded with the Seahawks leading 6-2.

Keiser seized momentum in the second quarter with an assertive performance. AJ Badik's goal at 5:29 extended the lead after the Warriors' Sam Shields had earlier found the net. The Seahawks then capitalized on a man-up opportunity when Rundle scored with an assist from Kegan Hufford at 0:45, further increasing their advantage. The quarter concluded with Keiser leading 8-3.

The Seahawks capitalized on early penalties by WIU to initiate a dominant third quarter. Hufford scored a man-up goal just over a minute into the quarter, assisted by Rundle, setting the tone for Keiser. Badik added to the momentum with another man-up goal, assisted by JP Prather, shortly thereafter. 

The offensive surge continued as Keiser netted multiple goals, with Cole Nappi, Rundle, Cameron Romano, and Prather each finding the back of the net. Hufford added another man-up goal, aided by Rundle, further extending the Seahawks' lead. Matthew Essig closed the scoring for Keiser with under a minute remaining, assisted by Kyle Davis

The Seahawks secured their decisive victory in the fourth quarter. Davis initiated the scoring with a goal at 11:01, assisted by Rundle. Prather added to the lead with another goal at 8:07, further extending Keiser's advantage. 

Keiser capitalized on a man-up opportunity with Davis scoring again at 2:14, this time assisted by Prather. Ryan Stowell capped off the scoring for the Seahawks with a goal at 1:12, assisted by Hufford. 

Up next for the Seahawks is the 2026 AAC Tournament hosted by Life (Ga.). Keiser will enter this year's tournament as the No. 1 seed and will compete in the semifianls versus a team yet to be determined on May 1.
