LAKE WALES, Fla. — (rv) Keiser Baseball dropped the finale of the four-game Sun Conference series to Warner on Saturday afternoon, falling 10-2 at Sikes Family Field. The Seahawks fall to 28-13 overall and 12-8 in conference play.

Keiser got off to an ideal start in the first inning, jumping out to an early 2-0 lead by drawing walks along with some hit-by-pitches — helped the Seahawks load the bases, and Jaden Ross came through with a run-scoring fielder's choice to give Keiser the advantage.

Warner answered back with single runs in the second and third before breaking the game open with a five-run fourth inning, sending Keiser to the dugout trailing 7-2. The Seahawks continued to battle and put runners on base throughout the afternoon — drawing five walks and being hit by pitches six times — but couldn't find the timely hit to cut into the deficit. Keiser left nine men on base.

Four Seahawk errors proved costly, opening the door to several unearned runs that inflated the final margin. Warner added three more in the eighth to close out the 10-2 victory.

On the mound, Jack Sanchez started the game but lasted just 0.1 innings with Bastyan Hernandez, Logan Butler, Seth Broadwell, and Allen Leitner all taking the ball in relief and competed throughout the afternoon.

The Seahawks have two conference series left in the regular season with Senior Day next Saturday at home.
