LAKE WALES, Fla. – Keiser Baseball swept a doubleheader at Sikes Family Field on Friday, defeating Warner 6-5 in game one before rolling to a 15-5 victory to close out the night. The Seahawks move to 28-12 on the season and 12-7 in conference play.

In game one of the afternoon, both squads traded runs in the first, with Chris Sorge delivering an RBI single for the Seahawks and Jhenzel Figueroa answering for Warner to knot it at 1-1. Keiser pulled ahead for good in the second when Alex Getz hit a solo home run and Elian Collado followed with an RBI single to make it 3-1. The Seahawks extended the lead to 5-1 in the fourth on back-to-back RBI singles from Collado and Tad Brooks, but Warner answered with three runs of their own on a two-RBI single from Paddy Smith and an RBI single from Timothy Dunn to pull within one at 5-4. Collado added an insurance run in the sixth with a groundout RBI, and though Warner pulled within one again in the bottom half, Keiser held on for the 6-5 final. Collado led the offense going 3-for-4 with three RBI. Austin Taylor went four innings to earn the win, and Seth Broadwell closed it out over the final two frames for his second save of the season.

Game two was all Seahawks from the start. After the teams traded runs in the first, Keiser broke it open with a six-run second inning, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Jeremy Garcia and a two-RBI double from Chris Sorge as the rally continued before Warner could record the final out. Keiser kept rolling, adding two more in the sixth when Garcia and Collado hit back-to-back triples and Tad Brooks followed with a sac fly to push the lead to 9-4, then put the game away with a five-run seventh on a two-RBI single from Brooks and a two-RBI double from Avery Doezie. Garcia was the standout of the nightcap, going 3-for-3 with two RBI, a triple, three stolen bases, and four runs scored, including a steal of home in the eighth inning. Doezie finished with three RBI and Brooks drove in four on the day. Kyle Keyes started and went 4.2 innings before giving way to Sebastien Germano, who earned the win allowing one run over 3.1 innings of relief.

On the day, Elian Collado and Jeremy Garcia were the offensive engines, with Collado going 5-for-8 with four RBI and Garcia going 5-for-7 with four runs scored. Tad Brooks led the team with five RBI across both games, while Avery Doezie added three RBI and two doubles in the nightcap. Chris Sorge chipped in three RBI on the day, and Alex Getz provided the big swing of game one with his solo home run.
