MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – No. 24 Keiser baseball cruised to a 10-3 victory over Florida Memorial on Tuesday afternoon in Miami Gardens for the first road win of the season. With the win, the Seahawks move to 4-2 on the season.

After plating a run in the second inning, the Seahawks broke the game open in the fourth with a six-run explosion. Andres Balart delivered a grand slam over the left field wall that put Keiser in complete control. Balart finished 1-for-4 with five RBI in the offensive onslaught.

Tad Brooks added to the offensive barrage, going 1-for-3 with four RBI. Brooks provided the exclamation point in the ninth inning, launching a three-run home run to left center to seal the victory.

Avery Doezie added two hits, going 2-for-5 with an RBI. Maddox Shaver contributed a hit and scored twice, while Cameron Hancock reached base four times on walks and scored three runs, tying the school record for most walks in a single-game.

On the mound, Keiser's pitching staff dominated Florida Memorial's lineup. Starter Jake Molloy pitched 4.2 innings before the bullpen took over, recording six strikeouts with Carson Hawkes (2-0) getting the win on the hill. The Seahawks' pitchers combined to strike out 11 batters while holding the Lions to just six hits. Noah Eatman closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning, retiring all three batters he faced, including one strikeout.
