WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.Jake Molloy earned his first victory of the season, and three Seahawks launched home runs as No. 24 Keiser rolled past Florida Memorial 13-2 on Monday afternoon at Silvester Jr. Field.

Molloy (1-0) worked seven dominant innings, allowing just two hits while striking out two batters in his winning effort. The right-hander did not issue a single walk and kept the Lions off the scoreboard throughout his entire outing.

The Seahawks got on the board in the first inning when Jake Olsen doubled through the left side with one out. After Avery Doezie grounded out to first to advance Olsen to third, Tad Brooks delivered an RBI single to left center to give Keiser a 1-0 lead.

Keiser broke the game open in the second inning with a four-run explosion. Jaden Ross led off with a single through the right side, and Karson Nadal followed with a single to left field. After Ty Martinez executed a sacrifice bunt to advance both runners, Olsen crushed a three-run home run to left center, giving the Seahawks a commanding 5-0 advantage.

The Seahawks added single runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to extend their lead to 8-0 heading into the eighth.

Florida Memorial broke through in the top of the eighth inning against Keiser reliever Noah Eatman, scoring two runs on back-to-back solo home runs.

Keiser responded in the bottom of the eighth with a five-run outburst to put the game away. Maurice Maiquez walked to lead off the frame, and Jaden Ross followed by crushing a two-run home run to left field to make it 10-2. Olsen then doubled through the left side to drive in Martinez, extending the lead to 11-2. Tad Brooks then delivered the knockout blow with a towering two-run home run to left field, scoring Olsen and capping the scoring at 13-2 to end the game early in the eight- inning run-rule.

Offensively, the Seahawks received contributions throughout the lineup. Olsen had quite the day, finishing 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, four RBI, and four runs scored. Ross went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, three runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base. Tad Brooks went 3-for-6 with a double, a home run, four RBI, and a run scored. Martinez added a hit, an RBI, and a sacrifice bunt.

Keiser outhit Florida Memorial 13-4 and took advantage of three Lions errors. The Seahawks drew 10 walks while striking out just six times, displaying excellent plate discipline throughout the contest.
