WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Trailing by two after three innings, No. 24 Keiser erupted for five runs in the fourth to take command, then held off a furious Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) comeback to win 9-7 on Saturday at Silvester Jr. Field.

Embry-Riddle jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third on a fielder's choice by Konner Nelson and a sacrifice fly from Miles Murphy. Keiser answered immediately in the bottom half when Elian Collado came around to score on a two-run home run by Jake Olsen, tying the game at 2-2.

The Seahawks took control for good in the fourth. Maurice Maiquez led off with a solo home run to put Keiser ahead 3-2, and the Seahawks kept rolling, eventually pushing across five runs in the inning — the last two coming on an error — to build a 7-2 advantage.

Embry-Riddle refused to go away. The Eagles chipped away with a run in the sixth on an RBI groundout by Javier Izaguirre, then staged a stunning four-run seventh to tie the game at 7-7. Kaden Menard and Konner Nelson each delivered RBI singles, James Warren added a sacrifice fly, and Izaguirre drove in another with a base hit through the left side to complete the rally.

Keiser responded in the eighth with the go-ahead runs.  Collado reached on a fielder's choice bunt and scored on an RBI triple through the right side from Ty Martinez, and Olsen followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 9-7. Allen Leitner (1-0) then closed it out over the final two innings to seal the win.

Olsen finished 2-for-4 with a home run, a sacrifice fly, and three RBI. Martinez went 1-for-4 with a triple, a sacrifice fly, and two RBI.

Keiser improved to 10-4 on the season while Embry-Riddle fell to 7-10.
