No. 9 Keiser men's basketball capped Senior Night in dominant fashion, rolling past Florida Memorial 87-52 on Wednesday evening in West Palm Beach, improving to 23-3 overall and 13-2 in Sun Conference play. The victory kept the Seahawks tied atop the Sun Conference standings and improved their home record to 15-1 on the season. With a win Saturday at Coastal Georgia, Keiser would clinch the top spot in the conference standings and earn the right to host the Sun Conference Tournament.

Before tip-off, the program honored seniors Jackson Slater, Jackson Kennedy and Jonathan Paul for all of their contributions to the program.

The night's first highlight came early as on his very first basket of the game, Camerin James reached 1,000 career points, becoming the latest Seahawk to achieve the milestone.

Keiser got off to a fast start as Nadir Myers drained a three-pointer early to push the lead to 5-0, and James capped a quick 7-0 run with his milestone layup. The Lions clawed back behind a physical effort from Jeffery Selden, who scored eight points in the first half. Kennedy punctuated the half with back-to-back dunks in the 11th minute to keep Keiser ahead, and James added a pair of free throws in the closing minutes to push the Seahawk advantage to six at the break.

The second half was all Keiser. The Seahawks outscored the Lions 60-31 to turn a competitive game into a rout. Myers opened the second half with a jumper to push the lead to eight, and the floodgates quickly opened. James was simply unstoppable, rattling off two fast-break dunks in a stunning 90-second stretch to blow the game open. Jaylen Lee was equally electric off the bench, recording multiple steals and converting them into easy finishes. Myers added three second-half triples to cap a 16-point night on 4-of-6 shooting from deep. Cameron Baldwin provided a massive lift off the bench, throwing down two dunks and finishing with eight points and eight rebounds. Keiser's largest lead of the game ballooned to 37 points with just over two minutes remaining.

Keiser hits the road for their final game of the regular season when they travel to play Coastal Georgia in Brunswick. Tipoff from Coffin Gym is set for 4:00 p.m.
